Because of the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 we are modifying our hours of operation and business processes effective 3/23/2020.
The Eastlake office will be open Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The Terra Nova office will be closed and all glasses/contact lenses needed to be picked up will be sent to the Eastlake office. Effective immediately, we will be seeing patients by appointment only for urgent eye care and services.
Examples of urgent services are as follows: • Medical eye related emergencies such as infections, abrasions or contact lens related complications that could potentially harm your vision such as corneal ulcers • Urgent exams for those in need of moderate to high corrections who have lost glasses, run out of contacts and are thus unable to function without them (If you are overdue for your routine exam, we will, on a case by case basis, extend the expiration date of your contact lens prescription to allow your order to be placed)
A few updates to make your eyewear and contact lens purchases safe and convenient: • We are offering free shipping on all contact lens orders • Eyewear can also be shipped directly to your home We care about your safety and the safety of our team members. Here are some additional measures being taken: • Practice doors will be locked until patients have arrived for their appointment • We kindly ask all unnecessary accompanying family members and drivers to wait in their cars during your appointment • Appointments are limited so that we can maintain an occupancy of only 3 people in the office at a time • Exam time will be limited and as time efficient as possible to keep exposure time down to as brief as possible • Our doctor and staff will be wearing the appropriate mask • Appointments must be pre-arranged • We ask that you call ahead of time to arrange pick-ups of materials • All balances are paid upon delivery and can be taken over the phone in advance.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. While we are pausing our routine care at this time, we are committed to doing our part to support our patients, our communities, and keep any urgent eye needs and ocular emergencies out of our already crowded emergency rooms.
